The gift that can’t be put under a tree

I spent many years feeling sad in the days after Christmas.

It didn't matter where I was or who I was with.

I'd watch nieces and nephews open their presents, see families waiting to see Santa Claus, and feel that familiar ache in my chest.

It wasn't because the gifts I was given weren't thoughtful.

Or that I hadn't gotten something that was on my list.

It's because what I really wanted was the thing money can't buy.

♥️ A positive pregnancy test.

♥️ A pregnancy that didn't end in disappointment and loss.

♥️ My own child to hold.

Year after year, I felt helpless to create my dream of motherhood.

Finally, I hit a point where I couldn't keep doing the same thing. If I wanted to become a mother, I needed to get creative.

That meant questioning some firmly held beliefs.

Opening myself up to options I hadn't considered.

Making a new plan.

When I let go of the assumptions that were holding me back, new possibilities emerged.

Today, I have two beautiful children. They are the family I always wanted.

Then something miraculous happened. My journey led me to a new mission—helping other women become mothers through my nonprofit, Cheri's Choice.

Every day, I get to work with women to help them discover their own paths.

So if you're feeling the post-Christmas blues like I did, realizing what you long for is the priceless gift of motherhood that can't be put under a tree, I'd love to connect with you.

In January, we're launching new resources to help you reclaim your power and get on a path towards what your heart truly desires.

Message me if you’d like to get a sneak peek.

Because motherhood is a gift worth fighting for.
